In Kern County, November is Celtic Music Month!

celtic knot:
When talking about music, the term "Celtic" embraces an eclectic palette of cultural styles...; and a tradition that, while spanning centuries, is still very much in the process of being created. From rock and jazz/world fusion, to stories - both old and new - told in song, to the pristine execution of 300-year old jigs and reels, November brings to Kern County a delightful line-up of first class musicians in a wide variety of concert settings.

A word to the uninitiated Celtoid:
These events are affordable and accessible for the entire family. So, go ahead -- stretch your musical palette and attend several! You'll be glad you did!
