Bakersfield's own Celtic music trio, the very talented Banshee in the Kitchen, will be performing as part of the Fred and Beverly Dukes Memorial Concert Series. This lively group features Mary Tulin on 6- and 12-string guitars and Irish bouzouki, Jill Egland on accordion and flute, and Brenda Hunter on hammered dulcimer and fiddle. The cleverly named California trio has a fresh and harmonious sound, instrumental precision and [an] ear for arrangements.
